Why I'm Still Courting "WRITING" Until Now

Why I'm Still Courting "WRITING" Until Now

Indeed, this site has still a lot of loads to do before it makes any recognition in the blogosphere. With all the various websites lurking in the latter,  the former would definitely have a hard time snaking through the labyrinth. The best thing, however, is that writing has no barriers; a single phrase or word can either be precised or ambiguous when it comes to this niche. It totally depends on how passionate the writer is, though. One can perceive an array of perspectives and/or ideologies regardless of the subject being sufficed. For me, nonetheless, writing is literature and I'm fueled to write despite the countless walls that surround me.

The Walking Dead: A New Season For Love, Hope And ZOMBIES

by
The Walking Dead: A New Season For Love, Hope And ZOMBIES
Yes, the zombies are back! After few months of hiatus, the ever noted zombie-series, Walking Dead, is back–fresh from the grave mates. Since season one, this zombie apocalypse thread has been a part of my imagination. Of course, who would not love the angst, excitement and filthiness that Walking Dead offers. This is not to mention the interesting personalities and ideologies of each character as they pave their way for survival.  I’m not a fan of that kid, though. Nonetheless, Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan (God, she’s hot!), Danai Gurira (God, she’s chicken-hot!), David Morissey and others teamed up for the upcoming Walking Dead Season 4

Gabriel Iglesias: Indulge Into The Fluffiness

by
I'm Not Fat. I'm Fluffy

If you're a fan of comedy skits, you probably have chanced upon Gabriel Iglesias or much widely recognized for his stage name, Fluffy. The American stand-up comedian is known for employing explosive voices and sound effects every time he cracks jokes on his shows. The first time I saw him was on the movie, Magic Mike. In the film, you'll see Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey living a life as male strippers. At the same time, Fluffy plays the role of the club's DJ. After watching the movie and doing some research, I found out that he is one hell of a comedian. "Oh no, Fluffy's killing fishes!" Indeed, for him,  "He's not Fat. He's Fluffy."

Why "Pacific Rim" Is An Epitome Of Awesome

by
Pacific Rim CGI Movie
First of all, I'm writing this not to spoil those who haven't seen the "Pacific Rim" yet. I won't dare waste my time on that. In fact, I just want to convey how fascinated I was after watching the movie. Guillermo del Toro, the film director, brought the kid in me indeed. Until now, I can still picture out scenes from the highly CGI-based film of this year. It is undoubtedly awesome especially if you watch it on 3D. There are no dull moments and the transitions are extremely smooth. It perfectly depicts a true sci-fi film—at least.

7 Things My Mom Wants Before She Calls Me James Dean

by
7 Things My Mom Wants Before She Calls Me James Dean
Last week, my mother just celebrated her birthday. At the same time, I made a relentless effort to buy her a half-gallon of ice-cream. Thus, it paved a way for me to write about her. I’m a good son, eh? First and foremost, I can say that my mom is the best mother in world. By the fact that she played with death just to bring me out of this world, my previous statement is undeniable. Also, my mother is undoubtedly a great preacher–of my life, at least. In every single day of my existence, she always stuffs gamut of tenets in my ears: from the way I should wear clothes to the type of music I should be listening to. Sometimes, it leads me to wonder; where did she get all of those? From watching Korean TV series, I think. Anyway, I vaguely realized that, however, she wants me to be a (real) James Dean. I’m not quite sure with the latter, though.

The "Exciting" Incident

by
By the power of the "G" symbol... YOU SHALL DIE!

Courtesy of 9gag.com

FOOL! For the last time: it is spelled E-X-C-I-T-I-N-G, not E-X-I-T-I-N-G (I spelled the first one too without “c” on the first try, dingbat). You see that? I graduated college with that stupid thingy. Even an overage 3rd grader in section 10 can write that one correctly on the back of his classmate’s yellowish, booger-covered uniform in a bold and Caps lock Times New Roman-fashioned ugly handwriting while blindfolded. I have no idea… I can spell cuntblaster, fucker, Arnold Schwarzenegger or even Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateapokaiwhenuakitanatahu (it is a name of a hill at the newzealand) with ease, but this word… the word “exi---- exciting”… Why?

Why College Thesis Sucks... Sometimes

by
Thesis Making

When it was time to plan things about our thesis, my classmate and thesis-partner, Billy, had all of these covered already. Before we agreed to be partners, the entire thing was already conceptualized and it’s just up to our minds to get things started. Unfortunately, as soon as our study was presented to our professors, it didn't go the way we expected it to be. It seems the path to our glorious endeavor is block–for the meantime, of course. However, one thing’s for sure, my partner is not happy.

7 Of My Childhood Superheroes

by
7 Of My Childhood Superheroes
Back when I was still a wimpy kid, I made some remarkable recognition of fictional characters in my life. It was then that I thought I should be, at least, one of them. Yes, it may sound absurd, but I was digging into it. In fact, I was even driven to an enigma that my existence has a purpose—something that would require me to take the sword and defeat the Dragons upon the skies. Believe it or not, I was fueled to perform a heroic act using my massive extraordinary power—way beyond what a normal kid can ever think of—that I have. Truthfully, these characters washed my entire being as a kid and I can't blame myself. I was a fan.

7 Reasons Why You Go Bananas With A Call Center Agent

by
Call Center Agent
I've been in the Call Center business, both inbound and outbound calling, for over 3 years. Currently, my line of specialty is doing outbound or much known as "cold calling." I can say that I gained most, if not all, of my experiences when I was still an inbound specialist than an outbound agent. Furthermore, the former did lift my potentials while I'm performing the latter. However, the core reason for this "Thingamajigs" is not to express how great and successful I am in my work. Gee, of course not. I want to convey a message to those people who think that being a Call Center agent is as easy as peeling a banana. Based on my noble experiences as a valiant knight of the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) castle, it takes a lot of Lions and Owls to be very effective in this work.

An Ode To Brielle

by
Father and Son
I am already a father to a lovely son. With this, I want to thank my wife for giving me a wonderful gift wherein she did a very glorious job in popping out the baby. Sorry for the term. It is quite loathsome, indeed. Nonetheless, I'm a self-proclaimed poet and I want to take this time to offer one of my pieces to my son, Kyle Brielle.

P.S I hope he grows to be the man her Grandma wants him to be. You know exactly what I mean.
