I have been working as a call center agent for three years now. Indeed, this job is one hell of a roller coaster ride. Literally, this line of job is quite arduous. With the various pros and cons it embraces, being a call center agent is still a professional job. Not only that I earn enough money to sustain my personal needs, I get to meet and/or talk to people–over the phone, that is. I've been in the Call Center business, both inbound and outbound calling, for over 3 years. Currently, my line of specialty is doing outbound or much known as "cold calling."
