Women: The Damsels In Distress

Let’s admit it: We men are hilariously arrogant and insensitive when it comes to our women. Either we are consciously or unconsciously aware of what our actions might lead into; we still tend to play the good guy. If we did something wrong like forgetting to greet them (women) a happy 1st year anniversary, we occasionally pacify the situation with never-ending promises: “Dear, I’m sorry. I’ll make it up to you. I swear.” And to spice up a little bit, hugs and kisses would be the finale. Simply put, that’s how tricky we are. We fail to recognize the importance of the present situation. Call it an unstable thinking, but it’s true. Men’s feeling towards women is often imprecise.

We fail to recognize the importance of the present situation. Call it an unstable thinking, but it’s true. Men’s feeling towards women is often imprecise. However, that doesn't mean it’s always the bad side. Our indifferences can sometimes lead to a better fruit. This is where we make our relationships a hell of a rollercoaster ride–fun and exciting. We just need to be in the right place at the right time, though.

In one way or another, men usually fail to appreciate women in very simple ways. Think of your girlfriend who just bought a new dress, and the only word you uttered was, “Cool.” As a result, you might just be slapped. You didn't even try to compliment her in a nicer way. Although it’s a fact that you are not that visual, being keen enough to notice her newly bought dress is important to her. Remember: Women are not like us; they tend to be very emotionally inclined to every detail that surrounds them. Unlike us, men, we don’t even give a damn of the dirt in our nails.

See, ladies are naturally born with narcissism. Nah… was just kidding actually. What I really mean is that they value their distinctions that much compared to us men. This is simply the essence of a woman if I may call it. It’s not because they want to be worshipped and/or praised like a goddess. But, it’s more of feeling the security that only a man can give. Have you seen how she gets into rage when a single pimple bursts into existence? Or, how problematic is she now that her face has a ghastly-gross-what-is-this-eww thing? You don’t want to imagine, right? It is because we know how our girlfriends/wives turn into monsters once their grace is tested. Now, you don’t want to add her burden by being a total asshole. Instead, comfort her through words that are sincere and passionate. Make her feel secured, compliment her being, entice her with XOXOs. There’s nothing wrong with that as long as you’re telling the truth, of course.

The truth of the matter is men should be a valiant knight to a damsel in distress. We should have the mindset of a real lover, and not the type who only plays good at bed, but a REAL better half in this god-forsaken life. Don’t mind what other people say to you or if your friends crack jokes on what an underdog you are when it comes to your girl. They’re just actually jealous for not having such a wonderful woman. Leave those thoughts behind. I tell you: You’ll realize this once you experienced being with her during labor or giving birth. You’ll exactly see the true essence of a woman–only if you see her as a forever partner, though. I had had my own involvement, and it was indeed an eye-opener.
